At 161 Coaching, we believe that continuous development is part of human nature and that sometimes things have to go wrong to learn and make things better long term. The company has been set up after Judyta did her first Norseman and being the second last person out of the water, arrived at the cut-off in position 161 and missed going up the mountain by 42s. This was the beginning of something bigger than a Black T-shirt at Norseman. 

Judyta has been involved in XTRI races since 2013 as a crew, support and an athlete - she is part of the XTRI Coaching Network and an expert in the extreme triathlon discipline.

By now she has finished Swissman (Top) , Norseman (W,B,B), Celtman Blue, won Janosik and finished 4th woman in X-OUT Montenegro and 5th woman in Celtman SP5. She is involved in organising Celtman and Swedeman. She has coached people to multiple Blue Celtman T-shirts, Fodax and Himalayan XTRI finishes and supported athletes during their races.

When required, she is supported by a running and triathlon legend, Scott Balfour who has over 30 years of experience as a multi-discipline coach. His list of achievements is too long… all you need to know is that he finished Kona 11 times. 

161 Athletes are based worldwide and training for anything from Half Marathons, multi-day gravel events to all shades of triathlons.

When Judyta is not coaching or training for another extreme triathlon, she is running a Pilates Studio in Edinburgh – fitting training around the rest of your life is a very familiar feeling.
